Everybody Lies

Without any training, it’s hardly for me to feel confident about my own drawings. Hopefully the picture I sketched last weekend is not too bad after all, since many friends are able to recognize the person in it. That’s already pretty enough for me. I cannot remember how many times I have said I wished I could know how to draw/paint. I was woken up from a nightmare a few days ago basically by myself shouting at my mom something like “I would have been able to xxxxx (do something specific) if you have sent me to a drawing class…..” It still hurts after I woke up.
To save me the last bit of poor self-confidence, please do not tell me if you cannot figure out that it’s House from the TV series House MD, one of the few TV series I like. Sometimes I felt I might be an similarly unhappy person just like House, but I usually don’t intend to make everyone else as miserable.

I think this is pretty good. your linework is cool, kinda like an untrained artist… but with alot of skill. An trained artist would have a hard time trying to capture the stle you have in this sketch. So maybe you should be thankful you never went to art school. Do more of this. It’s awesome.

I could totally tell that it was House! I think this is pretty awesome! (House is my favorite show and I have a mad crush on Hugh. So your choice of subject matter was awesome too!)

You did a wonderful job of House’s face, I could tell right off the bat who it was.
