Everybody Lies

Without any training, it’s hardly for me to feel confident about my own drawings. Hopefully the picture I sketched last weekend is not too bad after all, since many friends are able to recognize the person in it.  That’s already pretty enough for me. I cannot remember how many times I have said I wished I could know how to draw/paint. I was woken up from a nightmare a few days ago basically by myself shouting at my mom something like “I would have been able to xxxxx (do something specific) if you have sent me to a drawing class…..” It still hurts after I woke up.

To save me the last bit of poor self-confidence, please do not tell me if you cannot figure out that it’s House from the TV series House MD, one of the few TV series I like. Sometimes I felt I might be an similarly unhappy person just like House, but I usually don’t intend to make everyone else as miserable.

  1. I think this is pretty good. your linework is cool, kinda like an untrained artist… but with alot of skill. An trained artist would have a hard time trying to capture the stle you have in this sketch. So maybe you should be thankful you never went to art school. Do more of this. It’s awesome.

  2. I could totally tell that it was House! I think this is pretty awesome! (House is my favorite show and I have a mad crush on Hugh. So your choice of subject matter was awesome too!)

  3. You did a wonderful job of House’s face, I could tell right off the bat who it was.
