Since junior high, I always like to get a “Kinder Surprise” as a small award for myself. I am never tired of discovering what’s inside and assembling the toy without looking at the guides. I don’t really like the chocolate outside and the toys usually go into my nephew’s pocket eventually. The plastic shells are all left. Such a shell appears in my sketch book rather frequently, but I never carried out any of them. One of the reason is that the paints I have cannot stay well on the surface. The solution is found when I was taking a shower. 😀 The implementation of one of the old sketch was relatively simple.

The pattern was drew by hands. I found two trivial/ignorable mistakes (at the beginning of the 4th and 5th round) in the pattern this morning. Hopefully the following description can help to sort it out. Please let me know if you find any mistakes, so I can improve the pattern.

Year 2007 is going to the end. How is your 2007? My crafts started with the fortune cookie and finished with the lucky clovers. What a “lucky” year!

I had several deadlines, several new tasks and several meetings in two cities this week. It’s great this busy week is going to the “end”. And, it’s great I can finally talk about my crafts.
Some were wondering how I can put my yarns into a bottle, while some even thought I bought such a bottle of yarn as a whole. Well, I wish there would be such things available here, but the truth is it’s something everyone can make. Continue Reading Drinking and Knitting…
