Waiting rooms

Despite the busy like crazy experiments for work, I’m relatively less productive than usual in terms of finished craft projects in November. Another reason I was so slow is this piece of garment I finally managed to finish off last weekend. Given my principle for minimum parallel craft projects, I was only able to work on one additional project that has to be small. The pattern was from the book Crochet That Fits. It consists of only very simple stitches and it really fits!
I’ve been working on it since October. It’s mostly done in various waiting rooms. It was somehow surprising how many times I’ve visited various clinics/hospitals recently. Although it is not so pleasant to leave a doctor’s office without a clear answer but some reference letters, I am sort of used to the waiting rooms, in which I can actually concentrate extremely well. The waiting time can be as long as 1.5 hour, which can be easily wasted. To be well prepared, I always take a few things with me: a relaxing book, the current craft project, one or two papers, my idea notebook and and my mp3 player so I would never get bored in the waiting room. I am afraid I am becoming a professional “waiter“…….
