Getting back on track

After a week of the “marathon” event in Prague, I am finally at home again. Although the event has nothing to do with sport, it is probably as exhausted as a real marathon, which may not last for a whole week. I stayed everyday from 9AM to 7PM inside a building in the center of Prague, right next to St. Nicholas Church at Malostranske Namesti. It’s great that I’ve got some programming done, but I barely saw the city, which made me feel like I had missed a lot.
To look on the bright side, the Prague I experienced this time is totally different from the city I visited last time. Many pictures are taken during the night. I have to admit Prague is still very attractive in the cold winter nights. BTW, I can see the Prague castle from the guest house where I stayed, and Charles bridge from where the event was hold. As the event was organized in such a special location, we are lucky to have someone to guide us up to the steeple of St. Nicholas Church, which is not open for tourists at all. The view is somehow different from what can be seen from the top of the castle. I think I will come back to visit the city sometime in the future. 🙂
You must have noticed my new travel companion Natalie. Chubbey lost her way home and Jo stayed with my parents, so I really need someone to go to Prague with me. I only started to make her 3 days before we left for Prague. It was quite a rush when I tried to finish her on time. Her hair was a little uncontrollable, assembling myself to certain extent. She obviously likes the aubergine color as much as I do. It took me a whole day to make a pair of purple shoes for her. I was extremely exciting when I finished her. All the clothes can be taken off, including the underwears, the socks and the shoes. That might be the reason why I lost one of the shoes in Prague. 😦 Fortunately, she can still stand by her own without the shoes.
