Sketching Chinese

Our supervisor said the other day in the group meeting that working through Easter would mean hard working through the year. Obviously, the whole group won’t have a break this year. I sketched these inches last weekend, but the week before Easter is just not a good time for blogging, at least not for this topic.
There might be several things behind this picture. I am not sure where it actually started. One of these reasons may be that I suddenly need to talk a lot more about China/Chinese culture with my friends and colleagues after I came back from my vacation. I was surprised that the snow storms/havoc back in January were so well known among my friends. Many people show interests in China, however something they know may come from biased news reports. Sometimes, I feel obligated to tell more good things about the Chinese culture. Therefore, when I saw the INCHIES group on flickr, I immediately thought of Chinese inchies. I actually tried to catch the first things that came into my mind when thinking about Chinese.
Dear visitors, would you take a look at the inchies to see how many of them you understand? 😉 I’ll give more details later.
