Once in a while, I have to go through my bookmarks again for better categorization. The temporary folder is usually my focus and usually where I can find some forgotten treasures. The Tudor Rose Purse from Savvyseams is one of those. In addition to the great design (I really like the way how the flower center is made), the tutorial itself must be among the most comprehensive ones I’ve seen. You gotta check this out.

The hanger turns to be the most “popular” part of the bookmark. More than one people asked me how/where did I get it. I didn’t use any punches or existing templates. The hangers were cut out from normal craft paper with my tiny scissor. As a matter of fact, the hangers are only partial as it is unnecessary to have complete ones.

I always like playing with fd’s flickr toys. I’ve seen people making Explore poster all the time. Finally, I made my own. To make the poster look bigger, I chose to include the recently dropped ones also. 😛 Please do not laugh at me! I am not a pro flickr user, therefore this toy can remind me of what I’ve done a while ago. I’ve been more productive in the winter 2 years ago. Continue Reading What people like…
In pairs

We just had our anniversary not so long ago, neither of us remember it on that day. In fact, I was the one with worse memory. On the other hand, I don’t think there is anything to celebrate for the first few years. It may only make sense to rejoice after, say, at least a decade. Even so, I feel like making something as a make-up.
Quiet

It’s so quiet this morning. There is no so much noise from the trains as usual. I almost started to wonder if the GDL already started their strikes. Hopefully, they haven’t YET. Maybe people just don’t wanna go out so early because of the temperature drop overnight. We can finally expect a real winter this year. 🙂
I didn’t have a nice sleep last night. After some weird nightmares, I got up and waited for the sunrise. Only after the sunrise can I take photos of the little toy I made before I went to bed last night. It’s a bunny, a typical quiet creature.
They are on strike, so I am walking
October 18, 2007 at 8:44 am | Posted in Misc. | Leave a commentIt is usually approximately 3 quarters by bus + tram. It took me one hour to arrive at school, which is not too bad. I even stopped by the cafeteria on campus to get myself a croissant as a reward. When I arrived, I found out the public transportation system only reduces the service to 30%, also much better than I expected. I am feeling great now, coz I am going home later. 🙂

No doubt one simple project is not enough to really master the skills of needle tatting. This time, I made a butterfly with my doll needle.
