For me, watercolor is still much more difficult than color pencil. I am trying to get familiar with my paints by using them all.
I was a little upset for no reason. Every girl gets upset like this sometimes, I guess. I don’t wanna do any crafting, and sketching became the first thing I can think of. I can finally start the first page of my “new” sketchbook, which was bought 2 years ago.
It’s the end of July, but the highest temperature today is lower than 20 degree. The weather is so comfortable for sleeping, but I woke up even earlier than usual……weird weather and weird me….
Prof. P sometimes is just too cute when he is teaching. I can’t help drawing something for the memory of his class.
The only thing I can enjoy every week is possibly the semantic class….well….it’s not really the class…it’s one and a half hour I can spent in doodling….:-P This cat and the tiny mouse behind were done in the semantic class.
March and April are vacation months here. I’ve been hearing many people discussing their traveling plans before or during Easter holidays here and there. Many colleagues have left the town already. My memory of our trip to Italy last year is still so vivid that I can hardly believe that there are some new adventures very soon.
Hubby’s laptop has been out of order since last weekend. He tried to fix it, but gave up after disassembling it many times. Now, we are waiting for an subsititute motherboard and have to share one computer. Since his work got much higher priority than my random internet-surfing, I’d rather spend my holidays playing video-games in bed AGAIN: *someone* installed the SNES version of “Wario’s woods” for me.
There comes a problem when I dont have any gaming mood, for example last night and this morning. Then, it is hobby time. Although I feel a little guilty that my term paper as an outline after 1 week, nothing can stop me from crafts. However, all my craft inspirations are stored in my laptop, it’s not so comfortable to doing crafts without it. Thus, it is much easier to do something that has sticked in my head for a long time: a slim crocheted bracelet with butterflies on it.
The butterfly seems to be made separately, while the fact is the entire bracelet is from one single cotton thread and I didn’t cut the thread until I finished. This is exactly what this interested me so much, as I hate using scissors during crocheting.
The pattern of the band part can still be improved. I am only satisfied with the butterflies. Here is the pattern for the small butterflies.
BTW: another thing I did when the laptop is N/A is sketching.
It’s funny to look at the doodles drew in class. Although I do not distract myself a lot in classes, it still happens. Doodling is the only thing I can do when I dont have any papers to read at the moment. I was still listening to the lecture, at least when I was drawing the flower….:-P
Life isn’t that boring….:-D
