At least 4 weeks behind

Fruit flies like banana……yup…..as I said in the last post, I kind of lost track of my life. Plus….one of my camera batteries was not working properly and made taking pictures rather difficult….I got tons of excuses to be late.   How late? Well, this hat was finished almost 4 weeks ago!

There was a very nice roundup for knitted/crocheted hats in Threadbanger last month. The Beaufort hat was my favorite. I happend to have one left-over skein from the jumper project last year so I simply used it even though I don’t like the color so much. In fact, the color is exactly the reason I want to use up the yarn ASAP. It’s hard to imagine myself wearing the hat.

I had this project with me on the way to the craft fair in Metz and Bec seemed to like the color. Then, I found the best solution: giving the hat to Bec. In this case, I can still enjoy the knitting without worrying about the “consequences”. Bec, thank you very much for taking the hat!
