A new hat, a new place and a new week

Gmail was crashed worldwide for some unknown reason this morning.  The bright side of this break-down is I got some time to go through  the very few pictures I took during the weekend when I am out-of-town. I am not going to reveal the city here. It should be rather clear from my pictures for people who have been there. Have you figured it out? ;-)

Of course, I took Natalie with me. As her hair became more and more out of control, I made her hat before we, Natalie and I,  took off. The hat is very simple, taking only a few minutes. I just whipped up the pattern when crocheting.  Although the patterns can still be improved, I think it already looks fine on Natalie. I am going to post the pattern next time. :)
