E for END

EActually, this woven E doesn’t really mean END. It’s someone’s alias. :D

EI got the initial weaving idea when we were in Wandlitz and made a prototype with scrap paper immediately. The surface of scrap paper was not appealing so I tried several materials and the recycled ribbon turns out to be the best among what I can get. Although it is still a little too shiny, it works o.k. with the bracelet from my college roommate. This bracelet is really not my type. I would prefer something with leather cord. Anyway, I am still looking for more suitable material for this.

The technique is the same as the woven heart I made before. It would probably be the last thing of this kind I made before a long break from the traditional techniques. I consider the recent attempts pretty successful.
